Breast cancer
Early-stage breast cancer
What are these clinical cases about?
Genomic tests such as Oncotype DX® provide a comprehensive, individualised risk assessment for early-stage invasive breast cancer in adjuvant and neoadjuvant settings. Such testing provides valuable information you can use to personalise a treatment plan specifically for each patient’s situation—including risk of distant recurrence, the benefit from chemotherapy and whether your patient can be treated effectively with hormonal therapy alone. The aim of these clinical cases is to share expert experiences that can support you in your daily clinical practice.
What is this programme about?
At Exact Sciences, we want to offer you time-efficient and learner-centric ways of continuous medical education (CME). That’s why we have chosen for this case-based method of learning with a focus on improving clinical decision making and patient outcomes. Cases are selected to support best practice in actual clinical topics, and are created by international experts. Evidence and/or guidelines are added to support their clinical decision. The method is interactive and challenges you to mirror your own opinion against those of your peers and international experts.
